Chenue obtained the status of Authorised Economic Operator (AEO). This new device is designed to strengthen the level of protection offered by the customs controls on goods entering or leaving the territory of the European Union. The AEO status is granted to any economic operator established within the European Union, which meets the following criteria:

• compliance with customs and tax laws;
• financial solvency;
• effective system of managing commercial and, where appropriate, transport records.
